What a dark and twisted read. The sinister and gruesome acts that were portrayed in this story are some of the worst (and I mean that in a good way) that I have ever read.This is the first time reading this author and I loved how she didn't hold back with her story. My only gripe is that a final read through to fix the errors and some paragraphs/sentences that didn't make sense would have been good. I personally don't let this sway my rating of a book but it would have made it a bit more enjoyable to read.I will definitely be seeking out more books by Natalie Bennett. Another dark author to add to my list. Happy days.
Somehow Natalie Bennett makes dark, bloody, and twisted sexy. Like clench them thighs, call your man/woman on the phone, reach into that bedside table sexy. Yup, it's that sexy. Depravity is a book I just couldn't put down for a second. I ignored every single thing around me and got caught up in this macabre world. The entire story drew me in. The writing kept me hooked, but it was the complex characters and their personalities that stole the entire book for me. I loved the whole innocent but psycho thing Helena had going for her. She was so sheltered for her "sickness" that she had no emotions. Only fixing things made her feel a tiny bit. Declan and Ethan were completely perfect in showing her that she's special with her sickness. They didn't handle her with kid gloves as others did, they treated her like an adult and made sure they showed her in every way that she was special and perfect. Their dark twisted love story will be one I go back to again and again. Natalie Bennett outdid herself with Depravity.
First let me tell you how much I love the cover of the book. it is amazing and fits the book so well. In this book the story of the Andreou family continues, but you can read it as a standalone. In its core this is a love story. It is not your everyday standard lovestory, it is dark and sometimes gruesome, but there is also light and a feeling of being home. It is story of three people with dark desires connecting on so many levels.I felt so sad for Helane and how she grew up and was treated by her family. Being with Declan and Ethen allows her to grow until her potential and be loved and accepted for the first time in her life. It was actually kinda sweet and that is a word I normally don’t use when reviewing Natalie Bennett books.It was an amazing read that gripped me from the first to the last page.
I Give this book a 5/5 Star Rating.Heat Level: 4/5, wish there were more scenes but who cares XDThis books is a Deliciously Decadent Dark Erotic Romance, definitely a continuous reread!This is a MMF, with a lovely HEA.I Love Declan, Ethan & Helena!I would love it if they get another book just for the heck of it, I don’t think I’ll ever get enough of this Trio!
What can I really say about this one that hasn't been said before? It is deliciously dark that will have you not only questioning your morality, but also keep you turning that page wanting to find out more. How far down that dark and twisted rabbit hole are you willing to go? Will you hang up your sanity to play a game with Helena, Deacon, and Ethan?If your squeamish, this may not be the right book for you. But, if you can hang with some of the best dark books out there then you absolutely must read this book.
To say this book is twisted is an understatement, and I absolutely love every word.Helena is a beautiful broken girl, who believes she is "sick". She knows her demons and is sure she will be alone forever. Enter two defiantly dark knights Ethan and Declan, and then the real fun begins. Both men believe she is the perfect one for them, they just have to convince her.This book is not for the faint of heart and is truly a dark, twisted graphic tale. This is my first book by Natalie, but not my last
This book blew me away. From Helena wanting to "fix things", to Declan and Ethan playroom "work".Declans family has some sickness too, but in the long run it is exactly what Helena needs. At least she get some resemblance to happiness after what she has been through herself.I hope there will be another book to come from this one, I would really like to see some more.
This is a very dark read so if you’re not inclined in that direction, don’t purchase this book. That said, this book rocked. It’s a unique story and a well written one. I loved every gory, twisted moment of it.
