I don't know that Wallace Wattles is going to make me rich because I believe that, in order for many of these ideas to be effective, on must have their own house in order and not just concentrate on getting "rich". Regardless, Wattles has a very concise book here that expounds greatly on what The Secret was so sorely lacking. I read this one in just an afternoon.
The secret teaching of this book is in chapter 4 and chapter 7.Chapter 4.Every thought you have is derived from an impression of the outside world. When you SEE HEAR SMELL TOUCH or TATSE something it INVOKES a thought. In other words, we are being controlled (really we are programmed) by the outside world. What we must start to do is live from the INSIDE OUT. Give control to you, and the outside will then be a reflection of the INSIDE.These impressions create our THOUGHTS and our THOUGHTS determine how we FEEL. Therefore THINKING and FEELING as a combination is the secret ingredient to IMPRESSING your mind. Our Minds are easily IMPRESSED because we REACT (triggers emotions) to situations and people that make us FEEL bad (thought was just impressed), which leads to negativity and negativity repels money. You have to be on the right frequency to attract money. How..Chapter 7Gratitude is the seed for more. Whatever you're grateful for you will pull more of that into your life. The power is not in the gratefulness alone but the power really resides in "feeling" grateful. Feeling grateful is sending out positive emotions out into the universe and whatever you are grateful for you align with on a vibrational level."When we realize this" as Wattles says, we loose all doubt for we now know how to create what we want to create and have what we want to have and become what we want to become. You have always had control over your life, but you have given control of it to other people and circumstances because you have allowed it to take possession of your mind by your REACTION to life.Be mindful of your Words, be mindful of the words of others around you because life and death is in the power of the tongue. Words are powerful, because words determine how you feel and you can never "feel" really grateful and positive if you allow others to hurt you with their words because they are at an emotional level hurting your vibration and your vibration is what attracts everything you desire

I gave this book a 5star because it has helped me tremendously. This is my second time reading this book and my life has changed with so much richness in it. This book is so life changing if it is read with an understanding of how the Universe really works. Your desires will come to you just as you imagine them. Our minds can create anything we desire in our lives. It's a science that can not fail. If we practice a deep feeling of gratitude uniting ourselves with Devine Intelligence,all things are possible.
At first when I got this book I was annoyed and a little disappointed. First at the brevity of the book. It is under 100 pages, almost like a pamphlet I thought. Then when I went to read it the language was sophisticated! (WHAT!?!haha) Not at all the type of language I'm accustomed to when reading books talking about self help principles (I generally feel self help books employ a very casual tone and language). Those two things right there meant that I left this book sitting on my nightstand while I tore through many other books surrounding wealth creation, and success.Finally I ran out of those, and in the interim I reluctantly felt I should give this book one more try... I'm SO GLAD I DID! It turns out this book was written in 1910 (woulda helped me had I checked the copyright to begin with-explains the language anyway) OUT OF ALL THE LAW OF ATTRACTION AND SUCCESS BOOKS I'VE READ SO FAR, THIS BOOK IS THE BEST, AND THE ONLY ONE I CARRY EVERYWHERE AND REFER TO DAILY. ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL. Mind you this was written BEFORE the term "Law of Attraction" was thrown about with regularity. It's fabulous, and gives a concise and clear modus operandi to achieve your dream life, even if your present situation really sucks. Wallace Wattles reminds us that it is a Certain Way of thinking, and living, that produces with certainty the life we create. I will absolutely buy this for everyone I care about.
I think titles like this turn people off, which is a shame! Because there is nothing shallow about this book. It is so deep and rich in content, it would surely benefit anyone who reads it with an open mind. It's one of those books that I'll come back to a few times a year. A classic.
This book changed my life. If you do what the book suggests, you will get rich. I am proof that it works. My dreams became my reality...it all took form around me. I don’t even work anymore. Just do what it says and it will work.
While the information within is priceless, this version of the book was solely for the purpose of capitalizing on Wallace Wattles. This version does not have proper formatting and was sloppily put together. Do not waste money on this version. Margins and chapters are not uniform, no care or time was taken to put this book together. See pictures.
This probably the 8th time I've purchased this book in my life. It was originally a treasured gift to me and I now give it to others. I strongly feel it can be a Life Changer. It was for me.
